Hey everyone, Wallysson here. Delta Reign hits stores on November 6, and Pokémon TCG Live a day earlier, on the 5th.
The cards become tournament legal on the 20th, which is the first day of LAIC, the Latin America International Championships, at Anhembi in São Paulo. If you're going to LAIC, you're already playing with them.
And the usual question comes along with it: what's worth buying?
In Japan the set came out on July 31 as Storm Emeralda, so we can already look at how these cards did in tournaments over there. I covered that in my Delta Reign top 5. Here I go card by card telling you what I'd buy and how many copies.
Delta Reign has 103 cards in the main set and not much you have to own. If you play Mega Kangaskhan ex, or you're going to build the new , your first buy is . If not, start with . The rest you can pick up as it shows up in lists.
If you want to compare, there's the buy list for 30th Celebration, the one for Pitch Black and the one for Chaos Rising.
And once again, thanks go to Junio Fernandes, who put this buy list together for me. He does it for every new set, and I just go card by card saying what I think of each one.
The usual heads-up: when I say "4 copies", it doesn't mean every deck runs four. It means it's worth having all four stored for when you need them.
